UX DIRECTOR | PRODUCT DESIGNER | TEAM LEADER
I lead high-performing teams and guide them to create innovative solutions for a wide variety of business goals. Within a strong collaborative working environment, I lead my teams with a combination of inspiration and hands-on execution. By partnering with product, engineering, and other business teams, we discover unique insights that lead to innovative concepts and meaningful solutions.
As a Director and mentor, it’s my job to help each designer find and develop their individual strengths. As my teams challenge each other to grow, I continue to foster a culture of passion, curiosity, and humor.
As a designer, I am very user-focused. I like to talk with users to understand their needs before I put pencil to paper. I feel it’s important to understand and empathize with the people using the products that I will be designing.
Design is not a deliverable. Design is a process that I use for complex problem solving when creating products or digital experiences. I find that I am most effective when I employ a variety of Design Thinking methods to uncover deep insights and to generate innovative solutions.
